Reject Nostradamus in Favor of the Bible

The popular predictions of Nostradamus must be flatly rejected for various reasons. When he was 9 years old his family converted to Roman Catholicism. His interest in the occult was strong and he practiced divination. Scrying was his method of predicting. This is also commonly practiced by witches. Nostradamus was demon possessed and knew he was headed for hell. He also had many failed prophecies. If someone wants to know the future, he should instead consult the Holy Bible which is the proven word of the Living God and 100% accurate.

Dan Corner Exposed Mark Driscoll For Doctrine and Blasphemy

Exposing Mark Driscoll

Mark Driscoll is a Calvinist and like others he teaches a license to sin! He does this various ways and seemingly pleases his professing Christian audience as it is done! How does Mark Driscoll do it? One of the ways is he maintains that the Prodigal in Jesus’ teaching (Luke 15:11-32) always remained saved, even though he strayed into wild living, which included sexual immorality with prostitutes! Dan Corner exposed his heretical views during a radio debate they had together. Because Mark Driscoll teaches once saved always saved, he must (like all other such teachers) declare such a false grace message to be consistent. By teaching the prodigal remain saved while in sexual sin, he indirectly taught there are sexually immoral Christians, which is grossly contradictory to the Scriptures. The clearest passages which say there is no such thing as a sexually immoral Christian are 1 Cor. 6:9,10; Rev. 21:8; Gal. 5:19-21; etc., but once saved always saved teachers must misinterpret them to allow for such under Calvinism. Hence, the Calvinists will always make such VILE allowances for backsliders. The saddest part of the whole message he proclaims is, he is assuring backslidden people who were once saved that they do NOT have to repent for salvation sake since he is telling them they never lost it and will never lose it under any circumstances.

Driscoll’s Blasphemy Exposed

The shocking way Mark Driscoll blasphemes the Lord Jesus is most disturbing. He is open and bold in his insults and sacrilege. How could any God fearing person just sit back and listen to such talk without being totally repulsed is beyond me! That implies some idea of the spirituality of his following. Folks, that is the precious and sinless Lord Jesus, who is also God in the flesh who he is blaspheming. The Lord of Glory is the one who is getting blasphemed! Yet Mark Driscoll’s heart and his doctrine allow for such wickedness. His supporters are sharing in his bad “fruit”! Mark Driscoll was already exposed by Dan Corner as a false teacher and now his behavior (according to Jude) is not out of the norm for the grace changers, which he is part of. Mark Driscoll is Biblically disqualified over his doctrine and ungodly character (Titus 1:6-9; 1 Tim. 3:1-12). In spite of this nothing changes in our apostate day. His popularity and message aren’t hurt! The harm he is doing to SOULS is beyond measure, but because his influence is so great it has to be vast! When will church people learn that popularity is not a sign of soundness. Though Driscoll might have charisma in the eyes of some, he is a terrible spiritual failure to the well versed Christians.

Background: Mark Driscoll’s Influence Exposed

Mark Driscoll is the pastor of Mars Hill Church in Seattle, Washington. Mars Hill is a large mega church with various locations in different states. There is a Mars Hill church or churches in Washington, California, Oregon and New Mexico. Mark Driscoll himself is considered one of the top 25 most influential pastors of the past 25 years and is often quoted by friend and foe. He is also the co-founder of the Acts 29 church-planting network. Furthermore, he is one of the co-founders of Churches Helping Churches, which alone raised over $2.7 million to help rebuild Haitian churches after their 2010 quake.

Is There Sin More Powerful Than The Blood of Christ?

Does Sin Have More Power Than The Blood of Christ?

In his book refuting once saved always saved, Dan Corner cites an objection that the eternal security adherents raise about sin which goes like this:

If you can produce a sin that can cause a Christian to lose his salvation, then you have found a sin that has more power than the blood of Jesus Christ, because 1 Jn. 1:7 says the blood of his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Dan Corner Responds:

Sin spiritually defiles a person, even one who has been washed clean at salvation. This is evident from what Paul told Timothy:

Do not lay hands on anyone hastily, nor share in other people’s sins; keep yourself pure (1 Tim. 5:22).

Also, Jesus told the Christians at Sardis:

You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy (Rev. 3:4).

1 Jn. 1:7 has a condition with it that will clarify the proper meaning of this verse! The whole verse reads:

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

The condition of walking in the light as he is in the light will make void the attached promise unless that condition is met.

Finally, Jesus himself taught sin would always be an issue in stopping people from entering the kingdom (Mk. 9:42-48). By saying this, he wasn’t downplaying the power of his own blood which would buy our redemption, but was clearly teaching that sin has destructive, ruinous, defiling, spiritual powers that can send people to the fire that never goes out. Nowhere in that passage does Jesus limit the soul-damning power of sin only to those who were never saved. This is much different from the Once Saved Always Saved teachers who try to limit sin’s destructive powers in the life of any person who ever had a moment of true faith in Christ.

Forgive To Be Forgiven | Forgiven And Forgiving | Dan Corner

Dan Corner Examines the Seriousness of Unforgiveness

To limit the seriousness of unforgiveness to only being a hindrance to your prayers, as some teachers do, is to dangerously understate the consequences of it. This is usually done from Mk. 11:25. That verse says:

And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.

Clearly, we see here as in the aforementioned verses, we block our own forgiveness by being unforgiving! Also, we should check our own hearts for any unforgiveness as often as we pray. In other words, this should be a constant area of self-examination. What a victory through unforgiveness the devil must be getting in the lives of most, especially when one embraces Once Saved Always Saved, which Dan Corner contends against in his writings and on his websites.

We also learn in Mk. 11:25 what unforgiveness is. Jesus said it was holding something against another.

To obey Jesus and forgive those who sin against us doesn’t mean they are getting away with their offense! Vengeance is God’s, he will repay. So forgiving our offenders isn’t helping them. Instead, it’s helping yourself spiritually, based on Jesus’ teaching in Mt. 18:21-35.

Related to this subject of forgiving others is the following passage from James which deals with showing mercy:

For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment (2:13).

On the other hand, Dan Corner says, to nurse a grudge against another is to be like the wicked and adulterous Herodias who unjustly did such against John the Baptist:

For Herod himself had given orders to have John arrested, and he had him bound and put in prison. He did this because of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife, whom he had married. For John had been saying to Herod, “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.” So Herodias nursed a grudge against John and wanted to kill him. But she was not able to (Mk. 6:17-19).

Finally, forgiving others is as important as getting your own sins forgiven, for without the former, the latter won’t occur, according to the Lord Jesus.

Charles Stanley Vs Charles Spurgeon | Do The Disobedient Remain Saved?

Which Eternal Security Teacher is wrong about the following question?

Is it possible for a Christian to altogether forsake the path of obedience yet remain saved?

Charles Stanley said:

You can’t sin and live like the devil down here and get by with it, even as a believer. The Bible says you will lose your reward, but you’ll be saved so as by fire. You won’t lose your salvation, but there’s a whole lot to lose, brother, by sinful living.

Charles Spurgeon said:

We detest the doctrine that a man who has once believed in Jesus will be saved even if he altogether forsook the path of obedience. We deny that such a turning aside is possible to the true believer, and therefore the idea imputed to us is clearly an invention of the adversary.

Infinite (Finished) Work of Christ and OSAS Once Saved Always Saved

Is the following a valid argument for eternal security (osas)?

If I’m wrong as a once saved always saved (OSAS) advocate, I want to be wrong because I over-emphasize the infinite work of Christ on the cross.

Dan Corner, author of The Believer’s Conditional Security (which refutes osas), responds:

This sounds like a good reason to accept OSAS or stay with this position. However, the infinite work of Christ doesn’t relate to this controversy, as previously mentioned. Advocates of a conditional security also affirm the infinite work of Christ. Scriptural truth on any specific issue is the deciding factor, which shows OSAS is a doctrinal myth that holds its adherents in a false security with obvious spiritual disadvantages.

Also, for five-point Calvinists to claim that the infinite work of Christ is the reason they believe in OSAS, is to unwittingly contradict their own limited atonement doctrine. That point in Calvinism teaches that Jesus shed his blood only for the elect, but not for the non-elect. Hence, if Jesus didn’t shed his precious blood for everyone, then it wasn’t infinite. In contrast to this point of Calvinism, the Apostle John wrote:

And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world (1 Jn. 2:2, NKJV).

Moreover, since Jesus died for the ungodly (Rom. 5:6), and all people are ungodly before salvation, then Jesus died for everyone!

Clearly then, Jesus died for all people and not just the elect, as Calvinism declares. Question: Who, then, really believes in the infinite work of Christ?

Please view The Finished (Infinite) Work of Christ video by Dan Corner and don’t be deceived by osas.

Should a Woman Have Long Hair and Man Short Hair? | Dan Corner

Is hair length something Christians should be concerned about? Is it legalism to mention hair length at all under grace? Here are the Biblical facts:

Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him, but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering. If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice – nor do the churches of God. (1 Cor 11:14-16)

The Biblical head covering for Christian women has been so elevated by some that it is their primary checkpoint to consider a professing Christian woman as a real Christian or not! Of course, it also has to be of the color, size and shape accepted by that same group!
